10 million visitors!

On Thursday, March 19, we welcomed our ten-millionth visitor since since the museum's opening in 1946. Interestingly, the milestone passed relatively quietly, partly because it coincided with a corporate event held at the museum. Approximately 60 professionals from the museum, theme park, and AV sectors were in attendance to learn about the creation of D-DEX.

Reaching ten million visitors highlights the enduring popularity our museum has enjoyed for three generations. While we saw great success up until the 1980s, the museum later faced challenges as the number of WWII-related museums grew. However, since 2006, Overloon War Museum has been on an upward trajectory, and the last few years have been particularly successful. A huge thank you to all our visitors!
