This makes your visit even more interesting!
The War Museum Overloon is located in a beautiful park with various statues, which remind the visitors of the human suffering and heroism of the Second World War. Furthermore, there is an open-air theatre, where performances are given regularly during summer. And for a more active approach, you can take the walking trail (2.2 km) or practice your skills in the climbing forest.
Inside the museum, you will find an interesting museum shop near the reception desk in the main building. The selection consists of books and DVDs about the Second World War, but also of clothing, caps, pins, postcards and other souvenirs.
During your visit, check our museum cafe for coffee with pie, soft drinks, a snack or a full-service lunch. And if the weather is nice, the sun terrace will be open as well. Of course large groups are welcome in the museum cafe too, after reservation preferably a week ahead of your groups visit.
Finally, in case you want to use our museum facilities for a business meeting or training purposes, maybe combined with a museum tour, please contact the staff of our Visitors Department, as they can tell you all about it - and are happy to do so!
