BMW 315
The BMW 315 Kübelwagen was the military version of BMW’s popular 1.5-litre six-cylinder from Eisenach. Fitted with an open Karmann body and rear-wheel drive, it was lighter and simpler than the later Einheits-Pkw, yet proved a reliable workhorse as a signals vehicle – used by the Nachrichtentruppe for laying and maintaining telephone lines. This exceptionally rare example, delivered directly to the Reichskriegsministerium in 1936, has recently been fully restored and makes its public debut at Militracks 2026.
