BMW R75 Motorradgespann

The BMW R75 was the quintessential heavy Wehrmacht motorcycle combination: a rugged 750cc boxer engine with a driven sidecar wheel, locking differential and a gearbox offering both road and off-road ratios — including reverse. Developed from 1938 at the Wehrmacht's request, the R75 entered production at the Eisenach factory in 1941. The combination proved itself on every front, from the Russian mud to the North African desert. Around 16,500 units were built in total, until Allied bombing brought production to a halt in 1944.
