Drehkrankraftwagen mit Bilstein 6t Hebekran, Sd.Kfz. 9/1
The Sd.Kfz. 9/1 is a variant of the famous Famo schwerer Zugkraftwagen 18 ton, fitted with a Bilstein slewing crane boasting a six-tonne lifting capacity. This vehicle combined the towing power and off-road capability of the Famo with the ability to lift heavy loads — essential for the recovery and maintenance of armoured vehicles at the front. The Sd.Kfz. 9/1 is exceptionally rare; the restoration of this particular example required years of intensive work and was completed last year. The vehicle is in running condition, but due to its enormous dimensions it will primarily be on show as a static display at Militracks — positioned close to the public.
