Leichter Zugkraftwagen 1-t Sd.Kfz. 10
The Sd.Kfz. 10 was a light half-track prime mover with a one-tonne towing capacity, developed by Demag (Wetter) from 1934 onwards. Series production commenced in 1938, with manufacturers such as Saurer and MWC building the vehicle alongside Demag. The 1-tonner served as a prime mover for light PaK and FlaK guns as well as the Nebelwerfer, but was also employed as a repair and ammunition vehicle. A special variant was designed for the Nebeltruppen (chemical warfare units). The vehicle could carry eight men, was exceptionally manoeuvrable and performed well on rough terrain. At Militracks, several 1-tonners by Demag, Saurer and MWC will once again be on display this year.
