Nimbus Type II Motorradgespann

Another special addition to the vehicle program! The Nimbus Type II was a Danish motorcycle produced by Fisker & Nielsen between 1934 and 1959, renowned for its robust 746cc four-cylinder inline engine (22hp) and distinctive tubular frame. It had a three-speed gearbox, no reverse. In 1939, Nimbus built one hundred units for the Yugoslav Army, but after the German occupation of Denmark, these motorcycles were hidden. Eventually, the Germans discovered them, sent them to Norway, and used them in an SS police unit. During the occupation, many Nimbus motorcycles were confiscated by the Wehrmacht due to their reliability and easy maintenance. After the war, the remaining units were sold to civilians, but only a few have survived. This particular example is unique: it is the only known Nimbus to have been fully restored in the configuration used by the German SS police.
