Opel Olympia OL38

The Opel Olympia was introduced in 1935 as one of the world's first mass-produced cars with a unitary body structure. It was named in anticipation of the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games. The improved OL38 version appeared in 1937, featuring a more powerful 1.5-litre OHV engine producing 37 hp, a four-speed gearbox, and a four-door body variant. The Wehrmacht widely employed the Olympia as a staff and liaison vehicle. Between 1935 and 1940, over 168,000 units were built. After the war, Opel resumed production in 1947.
