Panzerkampfwagen 38(t)
With the LT vz. 38 the company CKD, in Czechoslovakia, had developed an efficient tank. Serial production started in 1938. At the outbreak of war two German tank divisions were equipped with this tank. Later on, armour and weaponry did no longer satisfy the demands of war. The tank destroyer "Hetzer" appeared after 1943, literally based on the 38(t) chassis.
