Leichter Zugkraftwagen 1-t Sd.Kfz. 10/5
The Sd.Kfz. 10/5 was a German half-track that served as a mobile anti-aircraft platform. It combined the light 1-tonne Sd.Kfz. 10 prime mover with the 2 cm Flak 38, a rapid-firing anti-aircraft gun designed by Rheinmetall. The crew compartment was replaced by an open platform with fold-down side panels, allowing the gun a full 360° traverse. With a rate of fire of up to 450 rounds per minute, it provided effective defence against low-flying aircraft. The six-man crew was usually accompanied by a single-axle ammunition trailer. This copy was beautifully restored very recently.
