New Chairman for the museum

After being connected to the museum for over twelve years, Chairman Lex Besselink handed over the reins to Vincent Ketelaars on December 11th. Vincent Ketelaars will from now on serve as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the museum.

It was more than just a symbolic handover; it wasn't even a gavel. Lex Besselink handed over an axe, stating that 'there are often knots to be untied,' metaphorically speaking. The previous chairperson came from the Defense sector. By the way, even after his departure, the Dutch Defense continues to be represented on the Board of Trustees. The new chairperson, Vincent Ketelaars, was until recently the managing partner at ERAC, an advisory firm for governments involved in complex international projects and their financing. His experience will significantly boost the museum's development in the coming years.
