GUIDED TOURS FOR GROUPS
With our guided tours and presentations, the museum is even more interesting! You can combine your visit with one or more of the following options.
- Tour of the WWII documentation centre (up to 20 people)
This one-hour tour takes you through many aspects of WWII in the Netherlands, from the run-up to the war to the liberation. This tour in the documentation centre can be expanded with a visit to the living room/hiding space of the second world war (Extra Tour).
- Tour of the military collection (up to 20 people)
During this tour, you will be led past a large number of military vehicles, aircraft and vessels.
- Veteran's story
During this presentation, a veteran tells about his specific experiences during a war or peace mission.
- Daily Life presentation (up to 85 persons)
During this presentation in the auditorium, two employees show how, in wartime, people tried to overcome problems and deficits, with which housewives in particular had to deal. How did mother cook the food? How was the house heated when there was no more coal available? This presentation lasts an hour and includes an original piece of educational film from 1943.
We do our best to offer a programme that connects with the needs and composition of large groups. If you would like to know more about our tours, or more particular plans for your visit, please call our Public service department +31 - 478 - 641 250.
Please book your tour with us at least 7 days ahead of your visit.
