Tiger I

Temporarily on Display: Tiger I
A Tiger I, one of the most iconic German tanks of the Second World War, is currently on temporary display at the Overloon War Museum. This tank was previously exhibited for a year at the Panzermuseum in Munster and has been assembled using original historical components.
The company HKW Technische Projekte specializes in the reconstruction of Tiger tanks using authentic parts and meticulous craftsmanship. The restoration of the Tiger I currently on display took no less than eight years. The goal is to make the tank fully operational in the coming years, despite the technical challenges caused by the scarcity of original parts.
Thanks to an extensive network and years of expertise, the team is also able to support other museums and collectors—such as by temporarily making this Tiger I available to Overloon War Museum.
