These so-called infantry carts, the If.9, were used throughout the entire war but have nevertheless become quite rare. The vehicle was specifically designed to transport an 8 cm mortar (to be more precise: the 8-cm-GrW-34) complete with its base plate (mounted at the rear of the cart). The cart could be pulled by a horse or by a few soldiers. This particular example was added to the collection in 2025.
